What is Genetic Counseling and how it can help you?
Genetic counseling is the process by which the patients or family at risk of an inherited disorder are evaluated and advised the consequences of the genetic disorder and the probability of transmitting it next generations. Genetic counseling provides information and support to people who have, or may be at risk for, genetic disorders. Genetic counseling may be recommended for people who have a history of hereditary disorders.
